Hero Xoom 125: A Bold Step into the 125cc Scooter Segment

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the all-new Hero Xoom 125, a scooter that combines sporty aesthetics with advanced features and robust performance. Launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, the Xoom 125 is poised to make a significant impact in the 125cc scooter segment.​

 

Design and Styling

The Hero Xoom 125 boasts a sharp and youthful design, featuring aggressive body panels and a dynamic front profile. Its aggressive-looking fascia is complemented by apron-mounted LED projector headlamps with falcon-inspired LED position lamps, while the bold rear profile is highlighted by split LED tail lamps. The scooter also comes equipped with split pillion grab rails and an external fuel filler with remote opening for added convenience. ​

 

Performance and Specifications

Under the hood, the Xoom 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, delivering 9.8 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This engine enables the scooter to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7.6 seconds, making it one of the fastest-accelerating scooters in its class.

The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels, a first in the 125cc segment, shod with 110/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres. Its suspension setup comprises a telescopic fork at the front and a single-sided, adjustable shock absorber at the rear, ensuring a comfortable ride.

 

Features and Technology

The Hero Xoom 125 is equipped with a host of modern features aimed at enhancing the riding experience:

Lighting: An all-LED lighting setup, including sequential LED turn indicators, adds a touch of sophistication and improves visibility.

Instrument Cluster: A fully digital LCD instrument cluster provides essential information such as speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, and instantaneous fuel economy. It also offers smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and alerts for calls and SMS.

Convenience: Features like an external fuel filler cap, USB charging port on the front apron, and an illuminated start switch (exclusive to the ZX variant) enhance user convenience.

Safety: The scooter comes equipped with a Combi-Braking System (CBS) for improved safety and control during braking.

 

Variants and Pricing

The Hero Xoom 125 is available in two variants:

VX Variant: Priced at Rs. 86,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), this variant offers features like a digital speedometer, remote fuel lid opening, sequential LED winkers, LED projector headlamps, and 14-inch cast alloy wheels.

ZX Variant: Priced at Rs. 92,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), the ZX variant adds features such as machined alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, front disc brakes, illuminated start switch, turn-by-turn navigation, front storage with a USB port, and a boot lamp.
